April Monthly Dialogue: SB17: Are we holding institutions to their mission and values?

Senate Bill 17: How are we holding institutions to their mission and values?

As people continue to try to erase or change history and people’s access to basic rights, what can we do collectively to hold the institutions that we frequent accountable to their mission and values? Join us to discuss: How has SB17 affected the community? How can we create our own spaces to counteract this happening? Who benefits from this new Senate Bill? How are we holding institutions to their mission and values?

Monthly Dialogues on Issues of Racism and Discrimination are a place for safe conversation, allowing participants to respectfully share their thoughts, experiences, and information. Monthly dialogues are not a place to spread personal agendas, hatred, negativity, etc. Rather they are a forum for people from all walks of life to come together as a community to create deeper, more holistic understanding of the topic being discusses.

Zoom will be used to facilitate the workshop, it is requested that participants who have access, will utilize their cameras to create a deeper sense of connection. Looking forward to seeing you there!
